Cattle AI Course – spaces left!

We’re doing something a bit different for our next AI course! The course will be run over three consecutive Thursdays, still with the same mix of practical and theory with experienced instructors. We hope this will give plenty of opportunity for practice before the end of the course, allowing you to iron out your technique.

Lambing Course

The aim of this course is to expand your knowledge and skills ready for this years lambing season! We will be covering the following topics…managing your ewes in the pre and post lambing period, common malpresentations of lambs and how to correct them, and looking after the neonatal lamb. The session will involve an interactive presentation as well as a practical to allow you to put into practice correcting malpresentations.

Emergency Foot First Aid

Calf Health Training Course

Join Hannah and Erica as they deliver the Calf Health training course, where they will give you the knowledge and skills to implement on your farm.

This course covers all the essentials of great calf health management, including the main disease risks, simple solutions to maximise housing effectiveness, and feeding for a great start. The course content underpins the importance of maintaining and maximising calf health as an important foundation for beef and dairy cow performance.
